Melanie trained at Trinity College of Music, graduating in 1997. Since then she has enjoyed a varied career, in the U.K and across Europe. Favourite oratorios have included Verdi’s Requiem, Mozart’s Mass in C minor and Elijah.

In opera she has performed the roles of Dona Anna (Don Giovanni) Monica (The Medium) and The Merry Widow. As an ensemble singer she has toured with The Edinburgh Festival Singers, Carolean Ensemble, Swansea City Opera and Spilling Oil Contemporary Ensemble.
