Nathan Vale began his singing career as a chorister in Hereford Cathedral Choir where, as a soloist, he undertook many engagements including radio and television broadcasts, recordings and concerts. In 1998 Nathan became a choral Scholar Wells Cathedral Choir, where he sang the daily services, together with solo performances for the Cathedral Choir and for choral societíes in Somerset. These include, Evangelist in Bach's St John Passion, Uriel in Haydn's Creation and Hande's Dixit Dominus, performing with many renowned artists, includmg Emma Kirkby. Engagements this year include, Mozart Vespers and Beethoven Mass in C minor with the BBC Scottish Philharmonic in the Usher Hall, Edinburgh, Mozart's Requiem, arias in Bach's St John Passion in the Guildhall, Cambridge, Leighton's Cmcifíxus pro nobis with Paul Spicer's Birmingham Bach Choir, RachmaninoffVespers, Mozart's Coronation Mass with the South Bank Sinfonia m the Banqueting Hall, Whitehall, and Haydn's Salve Regina and Mozart's Regina Ceoli with the City ofLondon Choir and London Mozart Players m St John's, Smith Square. Further engagements include Hande¾s Messiah m Hereford Cathedral, Monteverdi Vespers with the English Baroque Choir, and Bach's Mass in B minor in Wells Cathedral. Nathan is currently studying at the Royal College ofMusic, where he has won a fall scholarship. He studies with Ashley Stafford. |
